Damnoni Beach Middle

Damnoni Beach Middle is a relaxed beginner dive site on Crete's south coast near Plakias. The central section of this beautiful beach offers easy shore access to a mixed terrain of sand, scattered rocks, and small reef formations. The sheltered bay provides calm conditions ideal for newly certified divers and training exercises. Marine life includes octopus hunting among the rocks, schools of chromis hovering above the reef, and colourful nudibranchs on the rocky substrates. Posidonia meadows stretch across the sandy areas, hosting pipefish and small crustaceans. The warm, crystal-clear Libyan Sea waters make every dive here a pleasure.
