Kassandra Shipwreck is an advanced wreck dive in the northern Euboea area of Greece, east of Athens. The remains of this vessel lie at depth on the seabed, creating an atmospheric wreck diving experience in the Euboean Gulf. The ship's structure has been colonized by dense marine growth including sponges, hydroids, and gorgonian fans. Large groupers and moray eels have taken up residence in the hull, while schools of anthias and damselfish swirl around the superstructure. The depth and occasional currents in this area demand advanced certification and careful dive planning. A notable wreck dive accessible from the Marathon coast that combines maritime history with rich underwater ecology.
