Ksopetres is a beginner dive site in eastern Crete featuring a unique landscape of eroded limestone formations that create natural arches and swimthroughs in shallow water. The distinctive rock shapes, carved by centuries of wave action, provide sheltered microhabitats teeming with small reef fish, nudibranchs, and decorator crabs. Sunlight filters through the arches creating beautiful light effects, and the shallow, protected nature of the site makes it equally rewarding for snorkelers and novice divers.
