Pleora Point is a beginner-friendly dive site near Hersonissos on the north coast of Crete. This rocky point creates a scenic underwater landscape with a gradual slope featuring boulders, small walls, and sandy channels. The site benefits from its position at a small headland, where mild currents bring nutrients that support a thriving reef ecosystem. Marine life includes schools of sea bream and chromis, colourful wrasse, octopus in rocky crevices, and moray eels peering from their holes. Posidonia meadows fringe the deeper sandy areas. The site's easy access and variety of terrain make it popular with local dive centres for both training and fun dives throughout the season.
