M/V Giannoula K. is a premier advanced wreck dive off Plimmiri on the southern coast of Rhodes in the Dodecanese islands. This 50-meter cargo vessel sank in the 1980s and now rests upright on a sandy seabed, making it one of the most photogenic wrecks in Greek waters. The ship is remarkably intact with the bridge, holds, masts, and deck equipment clearly visible. Marine life has thoroughly colonized the structure: groupers guard the wheelhouse, moray eels inhabit the holds, and dense schools of anthias and damselfish swirl around the superstructure. Gorgonians and sponges add colour to the metalwork. The clear Rhodes waters provide excellent visibility for this atmospheric wreck dive.
