Pachia Reef is a deep advanced dive in the Dodecanese, plunging to 40 meters along a massive underwater ridge system. The reef's exposed position in the open Aegean creates nutrient-rich conditions that support dense gorgonian forests and large sponge colonies. Pelagic species including tuna, amberjack, and occasional Mediterranean barracuda cruise the blue water alongside the reef wall. The deeper sections reveal stunning orange and purple fan corals, making this one of the most visually spectacular deep dives in the southern Dodecanese.
