Hole In The Wall is an advanced dive off Roatán reaching 40 meters, named for a massive natural arch cut through the reef wall. Divers swim through the opening from the shallow reef side to emerge on the deep wall face, a dramatic transition from enclosed coral garden to open-ocean panorama. The arch itself is adorned with sponges, black coral, and encrusting organisms. Beyond the hole, the wall drops vertically into the abyss, with large gorgonians, barrel sponges, and occasional hammerhead shark sightings in the deep blue making this one of Roatán's most memorable advanced dives.
