Drop Off is one of Tulamben's signature dive sites on Bali's northeast coast, featuring a dramatic wall that plunges from just 3 meters to beyond 60 meters into the deep blue. The wall is covered in an impressive tapestry of sponges, soft corals, gorgonian fans, and black coral trees, creating a vertical garden that hosts rich marine life at every depth. Pygmy seahorses cling to the sea fans, while leaf scorpionfish rest on ledges and ribbon eels peer from crevices. Schools of fusiliers and surgeonfish patrol the wall face, and occasional pelagic visitors such as barracuda and reef sharks pass through the blue water column. The site's proximity to the famous USAT Liberty wreck makes it easy to combine both in a morning of diving, and the easy shore access means no boat is needed.
