Tulamben is an advanced dive area on Bali's northeast coast, encompassing multiple sites around the village famous for the USAT Liberty wreck. Beyond the wreck, Tulamben's volcanic black sand slopes host world-class muck diving with an extraordinary variety of critters. The Coral Garden and Drop-Off sites feature pristine reef systems reaching 30 meters, while the sand slopes reveal frogfish, ribbon eels, and mimic octopuses. Night diving here is exceptional, with mandarin fish mating displays and Spanish dancers. Tulamben's combination of wreck, reef, and muck diving makes it one of the most complete diving destinations in Indonesia.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
