Pengah Kecil is a lesser-visited dive site in the eastern reaches of Komodo National Park, offering a quieter alternative to the park's more famous sites without sacrificing marine life quality. The site features a coral-covered slope with scattered boulders descending to sandy bottom, hosting a diverse community of reef fish including sweetlips, snappers, and schools of fusiliers. Healthy hard coral formations provide habitat for nudibranchs, flatworms, and crustaceans, making it rewarding for macro photographers. Green turtles are frequently sighted grazing on the reef, and the sandy areas shelter blue-spotted stingrays and garden eels. Moderate currents make Pengah Kecil accessible to intermediate divers, offering a peaceful diving experience with the pristine reef health that characterizes Komodo's protected waters.
