Siaba Kecil is a fantastic turtle dive site in Komodo National Park, renowned for hosting one of the highest concentrations of green sea turtles in the region. The site features a gently sloping reef covered in lush hard coral gardens where turtles rest, feed, and visit cleaning stations, making close encounters almost guaranteed on every dive. Beyond the turtles, the healthy reef supports schools of sweetlips, snappers, and fusiliers, along with reef octopus, nudibranchs, and blue-spotted stingrays in the sandy areas. The relatively mild currents make Siaba Kecil one of the more accessible dives in Komodo, suitable for intermediate divers and an excellent choice for underwater photographers seeking turtle portraits. The combination of reliable turtle encounters, healthy coral, and relaxed conditions makes it a favorite stop on Komodo liveaboard itineraries.
