Tanjung Husi is an advanced dive site off Bangka Island in North Sulawesi, featuring a dramatic underwater cape where strong currents sweep past volcanic rock formations covered in lush soft coral gardens. The point juts into open water, creating a convergence zone where nutrient-rich currents attract both reef and pelagic species. The walls are draped in spectacular dendronephthya soft corals, gorgonian fans, and whip corals in vivid pinks, oranges, and purples, creating one of the most photogenic underwater landscapes in the Bangka area. Schools of fusiliers and anthias swirl around the point, while reef sharks patrol the deeper zones and Napoleon wrasse cruise the wall edge. Pygmy seahorses are found on the gorgonians, and nudibranchs dot the reef surface. The currents can be unpredictable, but Tanjung Husi rewards strong divers with outstanding biodiversity and breathtaking reef color.
