Nudi Falls is a premier muck diving site in the Lembeh Strait of North Sulawesi, descending to 25 meters along a volcanic sand slope that hosts one of the world's highest concentrations of nudibranch species. The dark substrate serves as a canvas for these living jewels—from the electric blue of Tambja morosa to the ornate cerata of Pteraeolidia ianthina, dozens of species can be encountered on a single dive. Beyond nudibranchs, the site harbors blue-ringed octopus, Ambon scorpionfish, hairy frogfish, and mimic octopus that have made Lembeh globally famous. A gentle current carries nutrients down the slope, supporting the algae and hydroids that sustain this remarkable critter community. Nudi Falls is a macro photographer's paradise that perfectly showcases why the Lembeh Strait is revered as the undisputed critter capital of the world.
