Temple Wall is a spectacular dive site at Menjangan Island in West Bali National Park, named for the ancient Hindu temple perched on the cliff above the dive entry point. The wall drops vertically from a shallow reef flat at 3 meters to beyond 50 meters, creating one of Bali's most impressive vertical reef environments. Enormous gorgonian sea fans, barrel sponges, and whip corals decorate the wall face, while crevices shelter lobsters, moray eels, and sleeping white-tip reef sharks. Schools of batfish, fusiliers, and snappers cruise the wall edge, and banded sea kraits hunt in the shallows. The crystal-clear visibility—often exceeding 30 meters—makes Temple Wall exceptional for wide-angle photography. Easy boat access from the Menjangan jetty and generally calm conditions make this wall dive accessible to intermediate and advanced divers.
