The Cross Roads is a beginner-friendly dive site on the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, where two rocky ridges intersect at 20 to 22 meters depth, creating a natural crossroads of marine habitats. The junction point concentrates fish traffic as species move between the different reef structures, resulting in reliable encounters with pollack, wrasse, and dogfish. The ridges are decorated with dense anemone colonies—jewel anemones cluster in their thousands, creating patches of vivid pink, green, and orange on every rocky surface. Lobsters are abundant at the intersection, sheltering in the numerous crevices created where the ridges meet. The sandy patches between the ridges harbor flatfish and occasionally thornback rays. The Cross Roads' distinctive topography makes it an excellent navigation exercise for newer divers while simultaneously offering the kind of concentrated marine life that keeps experienced divers returning to explore each ridge in greater detail.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
