The Pinnacle is a beginner-friendly dive site on the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, where a rocky pinnacle rises from the surrounding seabed between 14 and 18 meters, creating a natural aggregation point for marine life. The pinnacle's summit and flanks are covered with a spectacular display of jewel anemones, plumose anemones, and encrusting sponges in vibrant colors rarely matched in temperate waters. Large ballan wrasse patrol the pinnacle's circumference, while schools of pollack hover above the peak catching the current. The base of the pinnacle reveals lobster-filled crevices and occasional conger eel holes. During the summer months, blue sharks have been spotted in the waters around the Dingle Peninsula, adding a thrilling pelagic dimension to the area. The Pinnacle offers an easily navigable dive structure that naturally draws divers around its circumference, making it an ideal site for building confidence and navigation skills in Ireland's beautiful Atlantic waters.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
