Minerva Ledge is an advanced dive site in the Andaman Islands, India, featuring a prominent underwater ledge that drops to 24 meters along a current-exposed stretch of reef. The ledge creates a dramatic overhang where barrel sponges, gorgonian fans, and dense soft coral growth create a living ceiling of extraordinary color. Beneath the ledge, whitetip reef sharks rest during the day, while schools of snapper and sweetlips aggregate in the sheltered space. The exposed top of the ledge features pristine hard coral gardens where turtles graze and reef sharks cruise. The site's advanced rating reflects strong currents that can develop rapidly along this stretch, but when conditions align, Minerva Ledge delivers powerful encounters with the Andaman Sea's diverse marine community. This is the kind of dive that reminds visitors why the Andaman Islands remain one of Asia's most compelling frontier diving destinations.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
