Bell'ommo

Bell'ommo is an advanced dive off the volcanic island of Ventotene in the Pontine archipelago, where dramatic underwater rock formations create one of central Italy's finest dive sites. The volcanic walls are richly decorated with Mediterranean gorgonians, bright sponges, and dense colonies of golden zoanthids. The island's marine reserve protection has allowed fish populations to flourish — large grouper, barracuda, and amberjack are commonly encountered. The crystal-clear Tyrrhenian waters provide visibility often exceeding 30 meters, revealing the full splendor of this pristine volcanic underwater landscape.
