Punta Sant'Angelo is a beginner-friendly dive on the southern tip of Ventotene island, where volcanic rocks create a scenic underwater seascape in the Pontine marine reserve. The site features a gentle slope with boulders, low walls, and sandy clearings where Mediterranean marine life congregates. Grouper are commonly seen here even at shallow depths thanks to the reserve's protection, alongside colorful wrasse, moray eels, and clouds of anthias. The warm Tyrrhenian water and excellent visibility make every dive at Punta Sant'Angelo a thoroughly enjoyable Pontine Islands experience.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
