Isola Bella South is an advanced dive off the southern face of Taormina's famous Isola Bella nature reserve, where the rocky island's underwater extension creates walls and boulder fields reaching 18 meters. The reserve's protection ensures healthy populations of Mediterranean marine life — grouper, octopus, and dense schools of bream are regular companions. Posidonia meadows border the rocky areas, sheltering seahorses and juvenile fish. With the stunning backdrop of Taormina's clifftop town and Mount Etna visible above, this dive combines Sicily's most iconic scenery with rich marine reserve biodiversity.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
