Tahiti is a beginner-friendly dive site in the La Maddalena archipelago off northeastern Sardinia, named for its impossibly turquoise waters that rival tropical destinations. The site features white sandy seabed with scattered granite boulders and Posidonia meadows hosting a rich variety of Mediterranean fish. Ornate wrasse, grouper, and octopus are regular sightings, while the crystal-clear water provides visibility that can exceed 30 meters. The gentle depth profile and calm, sheltered conditions make Tahiti one of the most popular and beautiful introductory dives in the entire La Maddalena marine park.
