Lavezzi Tête de Cheval (Horse's Head) is a dive site in the Lavezzi Islands, a protected granite archipelago in the Strait of Bonifacio between Corsica and Sardinia. Named for a distinctive horse-head-shaped rock formation, this site features massive underwater granite boulders sculpted by millennia of currents into dramatic arches, tunnels, and canyons. The crystalline water offers visibility often exceeding 30 meters, showcasing dense meadows of Posidonia and impressive populations of groupers, moray eels, and nudibranchs. Suitable for beginners in the shallows, the site also has deeper sections for exploration. The Lavezzi archipelago is widely considered one of the finest diving areas in the entire Mediterranean.
