La Vacca Nord is a dive site at the northern face of the Île de la Vacca (Cow Island) in the Strait of Bonifacio, southern Corsica. This exposed rocky islet is part of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve, offering intermediate divers a dramatic seascape of granite walls, boulders, and swim-throughs descending to 30 meters. The strong currents funneling through the strait concentrate nutrients that support exceptional marine life: large groupers are the stars here, along with dentex, barracuda, and clouds of chromis and anthias. The crystal-clear waters offer stunning visibility. La Vacca Nord is a quintessential Bonifacio dive combining wild, current-swept topography with remarkable underwater encounters.
