Tre Pietrazze is a beginner-friendly dive site near the Strait of Messina, where three large rock formations rise from the seabed at 18 meters creating natural gathering points for marine life. The rocks are covered in Mediterranean sponges, small gorgonians, and encrusting bryozoans. The Strait's nutrient-rich currents support diverse fish populations — bream, damselfish, and ornate wrasse are abundant, while octopus and cuttlefish hunt along the sandy perimeter. The moderate depth and interesting topography make this an enjoyable dive for all levels in one of Italy's most dynamic marine environments.
