Kiwi Reef is a beginner-friendly dive site in Aqaba, Jordan, offering a relaxed Red Sea reef experience along a gentle slope. The reef features a mix of hard and soft coral formations growing over a sandy substrate, with table corals and branching Acropora providing structure for a diverse fish community. Schools of anthias create golden curtains above the coral heads, while pairs of butterflyfish pick delicately at the polyps. The sandy patches between coral formations host garden eels and blue-spotted stingrays, adding variety to the dive. Anemones with their clownfish residents dot the reef at regular intervals. Kiwi Reef's gentle profile and reliable marine life make it a comfortable site for newer divers exploring Aqaba's southern coastline, with enough color and activity to engage snorkelers on the surface as well.
