Explosion Reef takes its dramatic name from the reef's history of dynamite fishing, a destructive practice that once devastated coral ecosystems across Southeast Asia. Located off Cambodia's southern coast near Sihanoukville, this 12-metre deep site now tells a story of recovery, as marine conservation efforts have allowed corals to slowly reclaim the damaged substrate.
