Rocky Ridge is an intermediate dive site near Koh Rong Samloem, Cambodia, where an underwater ridge of volcanic rock extends into deeper water reaching 24 meters. The ridge's spine creates a natural navigation line, with the reef dropping away on both sides into sand. The rocky structure is heavily colonized by sponges, gorgonian fans, and hard corals, creating a rich habitat corridor. Schools of fusiliers and snappers cruise along the ridge, while barracuda and cobia are frequently spotted in the blue water beyond. The ridge's crevices shelter moray eels, lobsters, and a diversity of nudibranchs. At the deeper end, larger barrel sponges and sea fans create an impressive landscape. The site's gentle current typically runs along the ridge, making for comfortable drift diving. Rocky Ridge offers intermediate divers a more structured underwater topography than Cambodia's typical scattered reef sites, with reliable encounters at every depth.
