Englishtown in Nova Scotia is an intermediate dive site in the sheltered waters of St. Ann's Bay on Cape Breton Island. The site features a steep rocky slope descending from the ferry terminal area into deeper water, with interesting cold-water habitats at multiple depth levels. Large boulders create caves and overhangs hosting lobsters, rock crabs, and abundant sea urchins. The bay's nutrient-rich waters support healthy kelp growth and attract schools of cunner and pollock. The site's proximity to the Englishtown ferry makes it easily accessible, and the protected bay conditions allow diving on days when ocean sites are too rough.
