Fox Point Beach in Nova Scotia is a beginner-friendly shore dive offering one of the easiest water entries on St. Margarets Bay. A sandy beach leads to a gradual underwater slope with scattered boulders and patches of kelp forest. The diversity of bottom types — sand, rock, kelp, and cobble — supports a varied community of cold-water species. Northern sea stars in vibrant colours, large moon snails, and hermit crabs of various sizes are easy finds. The calm bay conditions and gentle bottom make this an excellent choice for training dives and for divers new to the cold waters of Atlantic Canada.
