HMCS Saguenay is an advanced wreck dive in Nova Scotia on a former Royal Canadian Navy destroyer that served in World War II before being scuttled as an artificial reef. This historic warship rests at significant depth, her hull largely intact and recognizable as a naval vessel. The wreck has become one of Nova Scotia's premier artificial reefs, with dense colonization of anemones, sponges, and kelp covering every surface. Large cod, pollock, and impressively sized lobsters call the destroyer home. The ship's history as a decorated wartime vessel adds emotional depth to an already impressive dive requiring advanced cold-water skills and equipment.
