Hubbards Shrimp Cannery Beach in Nova Scotia is a beginner-friendly shore dive at a site where a historic shrimp processing facility once operated. The old cannery foundations create interesting underwater structure on an otherwise sandy bottom, attracting marine life to the hard substrate. The mixture of artificial and natural habitat supports lobsters, crabs, and schools of cunner around the ruins, while the surrounding sandy areas host flatfish and moon snails. The gentle slope and protected bay position make this one of the most accessible dives on St. Margarets Bay, popular for training and casual exploration.
