Parliament Rock in Nova Scotia is an advanced dive on an exposed offshore rock formation where Atlantic swells and currents create a dynamic and challenging environment. The rock rises from deep water, with its submerged walls hosting some of the most vibrant cold-water ecosystems in the province. Dense colonies of plumose anemones, masses of northern red anemones, and carpets of coralline algae cover every surface. The nutrient-rich currents attract large schools of fish and frequent grey seal encounters. The site demands respect for weather windows and current patterns, but rewards adventurous divers with an extraordinary display of Atlantic Canadian marine biodiversity.
