Prospect Community Wharf in Nova Scotia is a beginner-friendly shore dive offering convenient access from the village wharf into protected harbour waters. The wharf pilings and surrounding rocky bottom create a productive combination of artificial and natural habitat. Marine growth on the pilings includes mussels, barnacles, and small anemones, attracting fish to feed. Lobsters shelter under the wharf structure, and the sandy patches between rocks hold flatfish and burrowing invertebrates. The easy access and sheltered conditions make this a popular spot for new divers, with night dives under the wharf lights being a particular highlight.
