Zealandia Wreck & Grand Narrows in Nova Scotia combines a historic shipwreck with the unique environment of the Bras d'Or Lakes on Cape Breton Island. The Zealandia, a vessel from the early 1900s, rests in the brackish waters of the narrows where Atlantic and lake waters mix. The wreck's remains provide habitat for an unusual mix of marine and brackish-water species adapted to this transitional environment. The Grand Narrows area features interesting rocky bottom with moderate current. Lobsters, sea stars, and fish species from both marine and estuarine environments can be found. The combination of history and unique ecology makes this a distinctive intermediate dive.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
