Shark's Bay is a beginner-friendly dive site on Syros in the Cyclades, reaching 12 meters in a sheltered cove despite its dramatic name. The bay features a rocky reef fringed by sand, where small rays occasionally rest and cuttlefish hunt in the shallows. The rocky outcrops shelter octopuses, nudibranchs, and moray eels, while schools of bogue and damselfish animate the water column. The protected nature of the bay ensures calm conditions year-round, making it an ideal introduction to Cycladic underwater landscapes.
