Abdallah Reef is a beginner-friendly dive site in Aqaba, Jordan, along the Red Sea's northern shore. The reef starts in shallow waters with a gentle sandy slope dotted with coral formations that gradually increase in density and diversity as depth increases. Hard corals including brain corals, fire corals, and table corals create a colorful underwater garden, while soft corals sway in the gentle currents. The reef is home to an impressive variety of Red Sea fish: anthias clouds hover over the coral heads, clownfish nestle in their host anemones, and parrotfish crunch methodically on the reef structure. Lionfish patrol the overhangs, and blue-spotted stingrays rest on the sandy patches. Aqaba's protected coastline and warm year-round waters make Abdallah Reef an ideal introduction to Red Sea diving, offering the region's legendary biodiversity in accessible conditions.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
